Athletes are envied by of a lot of people for their athletic ability. Others envy them for their charm and charisma. Some athletes are envied for their ability to make people laugh.  There are a few athletes who are known for being funny guys just as much as they are known for dominating in their respective sports. For most of them social media seems to be the outlet for their comedy. Twitter and Instagram seem to be the choice channels. I’m sure some of these guys were voted class clown in high school.

Floyd Mayweather Floyd Mayweather is arguably the greatest fighter still in the ring. He is the world’s highest earning athlete and isn’t afraid to show it. On his Instagram he has plenty of pictures of him wearing the most expensive threads, luxurious cars, and well his actual cash. In between of the images of his lavish life Floyd likes to joke around from time to time. He posted this meme that got plenty of laughs a few months ago before his fight with Manny Pacquiao was announced.

Chad Ocho Cinco Chad Ocho Cinco is one of the most vibrant personalities in the NFL, which is the reason is career has been derailed. None the less Ocho Cinco is a funny guy. Even his last name, which he legally changed from Johnson, is funny. He was number one on CNBC’s “Most Influential Athletes On Social Media” list. Though he is funny his jokes and antics have landed him in trouble a few times. On his Instagram you can see plenty of selfies taken with a selfie stick, him talking to a mannequin or riding in a shopping cart.

James Harden James Harden was apart of Team USA during the recent Olympics and his Instagram feed blew up during the that time. The guy with the iconic beard and cool sense of fashion can be seen having a good laugh with teammates, friends and family whether it is at his or someone else expense. The Houston Rockets’ power forward boasts one of the most absorbing feeds around.

Anthony Davis  Anthony Davis was the first overall pick of the 2012 NBA draft. He came to the league with a joke about himself, which was sort of a gimmick. His connected eye brows caught the attention of everyone. He even coined the phrase “Fear the Brow” to market himself. It may come to you as a surprise that hockey players are some pretty funny guys despite the aggression they display on the ice. Ryan is one of those jokers.
