Women athlete’s are often marveled and for good reason. Being a professional competitor takes a lot of time and energy. Their careers keep them in the spot light. Some even are wives and mothers adding even more to an already hectic lifestyle. The women on this list have not only mastered their craft they have done so while  looking very good.

Serena Williams


Serena Williams is known for putting on dominating performances on the tennis court, but off the court she is such a lady. Often seen at the beach wearing swim suits that show off her body that many women wish they could have. She even has her own clothing line, Aneres, where she designs dresses and other clothing for women.

Venus Williams

Next on the list is Serena Williams’ older sister (only by a year) Venus Williams. Also a world renowned tennis player, Venus has been known to be the talk of many red carpets. Her fashion sense and poise, translates into her own clothing line EleVen by Venus, that makes stylish active wear women.

Lolo Jones

Lolo Jones ran the 60 and 100 meter hurdles and currently holds the record for fastest 60m hurdle time. Later she switched from track to bobsledding. She was a prominent name in track, and has Olympic gold in bobsledding, but running really fast and wearing a helmet keeps her look hidden. Her gorgeous green eyes and fit physique make her desirable by men and even some women.

Danica Patrick

Whenever Danica Patrick isn’t whipping past other cars on a NASCAR track, she’s in front of a camera modeling or shooting a commercial for As one of the few women to drive in NASCAR, Danica Patrick has gained a lot of attention. We don’t mind because she is easy on the eyes, thus earning a spot on this list.

Allison Stokke

Allison Stokke makes pole vaulting interesting to watch. She has killer abs and the rest of her body is great too. Even more interesting is the rumor that she likes to practice naked. Her claim to fame was not cause of her athletic ability, but due to a picture of her in a track outfit going viral. Allison Stokke is probably the most famous pole vaulter, known for everything but pole vaulting.

Maria Sharapova


Maria Sharapova is a blonde bombshell with a mean backhand. She is one of the few that has defeated Serena Williams. Currently ranked number 4 by the Women’s Tennis Association, Maria has modeled for Esquire magazine, Sports Illustrated 2006 Swimsuit issue, and in the same year was voted “Hottest Athlete” by Maxim for the fourth consecutive time. Her skills on the tennis court as well as her beauty have landed her endorsement deals with Motorola, Land Rover, and Canon.

Florence Griffith Joyner

Florence Griffith Joyner was one of the finest women to grace the Olympics. Also known as Flo Jo, she won three gold medals during the ’88 Olympics in Seoul, Korea. She is known for running with her hair blowing in the wind and her unusually long finger nails. She still holds the record for fastest 100 meter and 200 meter times that she set in ’88 making her the fastest women ever. It’s nice to know that she was gorgeous too. Flo Jo died in 1998 from an epileptic seizure.

Maritza Correia

As an Olympic swimmer Maritza Correia keeps her face underwater most of the time but when she surfaces it is a wonderful site. She is the first African-American women to join the Olympic swimming team and the first African-American to set an American and world swimming record. Maritza is now married with two children.

Anna Kournikova

Next to Serena and Venus Williams, Anna Kournikova is probably the most recognized name in women’s tennis. She never won a title and only peaked as the number 8 player in 2000. The world was stunned by her beauty when she debuted at the US Open at the age of 15. In 1998 she made People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People list. People were so fascinated by Anna Kournikova’s looks that she was Google Search’s most common image search.

Sophie Horn

They say golf is a spectator sport and Sophie Horn makes it more pleasurable to watch. Instead of looking at a bunch of old guys swinging away, Sophie Horn adds some interest to it. Gabby Reece is an accomplished volleyball player. Her looks has landed her gigs as a fashion model and actress. Named by Elle magazine as one of the five most beautiful women in the world, Gabby is also an author and sports announcer. She does all of this all while being a wife and mother.

Alex Morgan

Alex Morgan is a star player on the women’s USA soccer team. She was the youngest player on the national team during the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup. During the 2012 London Olympics Alex helped lead the US women’s team to get a gold medal and was announced as the 2012 Female Athlete of the Year. She has signed endorsement deals with Nike, Panasonic and Coca Cola. She also is featured is the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.

Candace Parker

Tall and lovely are two words that describe Candace Parker. Candace Parker became known for being the first women to dunk in a NCAA tournament game and looked good doing it. She was drafted by the LA Sparks after attending the University of Tennessee. The younger sister of NBA player Anthony Parker, Candace won the USA Today Player of the Year award two times in a row (‘03-’04).

Dominique Dawes

Known in the gymnastic world as “Awesome Dawesome”, Dominique Dawes is just that, awesome. She is the first African-American to win an Olympic gold medal in gymnastics. Her career peak was as a member of the “magnificent seven” ’96 Olympic gymnastics team. Dominique went on to act on Broadway, and is currently serving as co-chair of the President Obama’s Council of Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
