LeBron James’ Top 15 Instagram Post
LeBron James is arguably the most exciting player in the NBA. It’s been that way since he was drafted in 2003 by the Cleveland Cavalier’s. He has been one of the most dominating players on the court and off the court he is one of the most watched. His Instagram captures some of the greatest moments of his career and life. His time line is riddled with pictures of him, his wife, his kids and a lot of other cool things. With 7.9 million followers, he shares some of his greatest life moments with his fans without hesitation. Here are the top 15 post from King James’ Instagram.
Met the Royal Couple
Recently the King of Hoops met Prince William the Duke of Cambridge and his wife the Duchess. After the game between the Cleveland Cavalier’s and the Brooklyn Nets, the royal couple congratulated LeBron on his victory. LeBron posted a picture on his Instagram of him talking to the couple and giving them their own customized Cavalier jersey’s. Later he posted a picture of the royal couple’s baby boy, Prince George wearing his customized jersey.
One Handed Catch at Dallas Stadium
LeBron is hailed as one of the greatest basketball players in the league. However, this picture shows that he has more talent than shooting a basketball. LeBron James admitted that he wants to play in one NFL game before his athletic career is over. His dream may com true. During a visit to the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium, a picture was snapped of LeBron performing a one handed catch. LeBron may want to try out for the Cowboys next season. I’m sure they would love to add him to the team.
Showing off his LeBron 12s Before Game Time
LeBron James has become increasingly popular for his signature sneaker. For every season he has been in the NBA a new sneaker has been created. He just recently released the 12th installment of his sneaker series. The good people at Nike work all year around to make sure that the King has sneakers that will help him dominate on the court. In this picture he shows off the bottom of the kicks and captions it with, “It’s that time again. Year 12 is underway. Feeling great!!”
Back to 23
LeBron, like some other great players have worn two jersey numbers during their NBA career. Kobe switched from 8 to 24, Jordan switched from 23 to 45, but LeBron switched from 23 to 6 back to 23. The first time he switched from 23 to 6 was out of respect for Michael Jordan. He made a statement saying, “He can’t get the logo, and if he can’t, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I’m starting a petition, and I’ve got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I’m not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it.” As you can see that didn’t work.
The “I’m Coming Home” Pic
LeBron switched teams the same way he switched numbers. He was drafted out of high school by the Cleveland Cavalier’s in 2003. His dramatic decision to take his talents to South Beach, disappointed the whole state of Ohio. Fans were furious, and expressed their anger by destroying images of LeBron and burning his jersey. Now he is back in Cleveland, and it is no surprise that Miami fans were not to thrilled about his departure.
The “Thanks for the Memories” Pic
This Instagram post was a simple gesture of appreciation to the Miami Heat organization and fans. Some seen it as a slap in the face. Heat fans felt betrayed that LeBron left them. Especially after he won not one, but two rings with them after coming short with the Cavalier’s, whom he ran back to. Heat fans did not react the way the Cavalier fans did the first time he left them. I guess they have more class.
Holding US Flag After Olympic Game
The 2012 summer Olympics LeBron was selected and played on the men’s US Olympic basketball team. The team included Dewayne Wade, Derrick Rose, James Harden and more of the top NBA players currently in the league. As expected, Team USA won gold at the end of the tournament. This picture of LeBron holding the American flag while taking a victory lap, was posted on July 4 to celebrate America’s independence.
“LeBane” James Pic
To some LeBron James is a hero, the way he is able to dominate a game and lead is team to victory. To others he is a villain, the way he is able to manipulate other teams seems unfair at times. This pic is for those who consider LeBron to be a villain. Its amazing what people can do with Photoshop. “LeBane” James is ready to annihilate your teams playoff hopes.
LeBron Gets Pedicures
LeBron James is 6 feet and 8 inches tall, he weighs 250 pounds and he gets pedicures. Some would be against a man getting primped and pampered but there’s no shame in LeBron’s game, he does it all the time. He seems quite comfortable. I guess all that running up and down the court takes a toll on his feet. I wonder if they salon charges him extra for having big feet.
Lebron Dunking in a Game
LeBron is a big guy that seems bigger when he his airborne. When LeBron takes off, clear the lane or you will endure the embarrassment of being dunked on. There is something very intimidating about a 6’8″, 250 pound man flying through the air. By now there are hundreds of highlight reels of LeBron soaring through to the hoop, but its a spectacle every time he leaves his feet. This picture captures King James in the middle of a majestic dunk.
Picture of his 2nd Championship Ring
For a while it was speculated that LeBron would never get a ring. The proclaimed greatest player in the NBA had no championship titles to call his own. In 2010, “The Decision” was made. After years of trying and coming up short of a Championship, James left the Cleveland Cavalier’s for the Miami Heat. There, he was able to accomplish his goal of winning a Championship not once but twice.
LeBron at Ohio State Game
LeBron is a true native of Ohio. Born and raised in Akron, Ohio, he makes sure everyone knows that about him with every chance. This picture was taken at an Ohio State football game in September. LeBron poses in front of the student section at the game with a Buckeye’s sweater on. The Ohio State student union is going crazy behind him. If LeBron decided to go to college I think we know what school he would have attended.
Sand sculpture of Lebron at Nike
Of all the posters and monuments put up with LeBron’s image, this is probably the most unique one. At the Nike campus in Oregon, there is a sand sculpture of LeBron with two championship trophies. Created by Portland sculptors Mark Chapman and Ami Davis, the sculpture stands taller than LeBron at 8 feet. That is not an easy accomplishment. Maybe, some day he can get a sculpture like the one Jordan has in front of the United Center.
Young LeBron James
LeBron took a stroll down memory lane with this picture. Here we have a young LeBron James during a basketball game during his freshman at St.Mary-St.Vincent High School in Akron, Ohio. That’s where it all started for him. Things were much different from now. Lebron was not the King who now wears the number 23 and he was much skinnier then. LeBron James is a product of hard work and dedication.
